This $30 Capcom bundle gives you more than your money’s worth

It was wonderful to watch Capcom has thrived in recent years. After a slight slowdown in the early 2010s with games like The Flou Lost Planet series and DMC: The Devil May Cryas well as criminally neglected persons Asura’s WrathThings were looking a little bleak for the historic publisher, which was responsible for titles such as the highly regarded resident Evil franchise, Monster Hunterand more. Today, they are in a remarkable position and have a huge catalog of extremely diverse games, and you can now get over 30 of these titles at a very good price.

Humble Bundle, which regularly bundles PC games into these unique and affordable collections, is is hosting an incredible Capcom deal right nowThe bundle has four tiers ($5, $10, $20, and $30), and at its highest will currently net you over 30 games from the company’s incredibly diverse portfolio.

Leading the charge is most of the time Death resurrected Games. The cheapest package will give you both Undead 2 And Dead Rising 2: Out of the ordinary for $5. This will also earn you Dragon’s Dogma: Darkness Risesthat comes with the original game and its expansion. I would probably say you can skip it Dragon’s Dogma just because the sequel was released earlier this year and seems to reimagine the cult classic for a modern audience, but it certainly doesn’t hurt to get the first title in its entirety for a measly five bucks.

For $10 you get all of the aforementioned games plus Dead Rising 3: Apocalypse Edition, Street Fighter V – Champion Edition, and the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection. Undead 3 was one of the first games on the Xbox One, and took advantage of the next-gen hardware of the time to render more zombies than was previously possible. It also controversially ditched the time limits that framed the early games in the series, but added a higher difficulty mode for those who preferred the classic approach.

The last two games, Street Fighter V – Champion Edition and the 30th Anniversary Collectionare actually 13 games in total. The first is the second most recent installment in the franchise and features the entire game roster that was added to the base game via DLC. The latest collection contains some of the most legendary titles in the series, including the original Street Fighter, Super Street Fighter II TurboAnd Street Fighter III: 3rd Assault.

That’s already 17 games and there are still two levels of the pack to go. For $20 you get everything already mentioned and Dead Rising 4: Frank’s Big PackageTHE Capcom Beat’Em Up Packand the Ace Attorney Trilogy by Phoenix Wright. The first of these games brings back the protagonist from the original Dead resurrected, who is also a remaster soonmaking it the perfect time to jump into the rest of the series. The beat’em up pack includes Final fight as well as a host of more obscure titles, including two games that never made it to consoles.

The real big plus of the pack is the inclusion of the Phoenix Wright collection, which brings together the first three games originally released on the Game Boy Advance. For the record, these are some of the most compelling visual novels out there, and it would be foolish to leave them on the table when you can get them, and so many other games, for such an affordable price.

Finally, the $30 deal gets you everything I’ve already described plus the Capcom Fighting Game Collection, The Chronicles of the Grand Ace AttorneyAnd Ghostly Sleight of Hand: Ghost Detective. The old collection features 10 more classic fighting games like Dark Stalkersand the Chronicles of the Grand Ace Attorney brings together two highly regarded spin-off games from the franchise centered around the descendant of Phoenix Wright.

However, the real issue here is Ghostly Sleight of Hand: Ghost Detectivewhich is one of the most inventive and clever puzzle games I’ve ever played. An adventure game where you have to solve your own murder, Ghost Tower tasks you with possessing inanimate objects, saving the lives of countless people over the course of a night, and meeting with the dog Missile. Developed by the same person behind the Ace Lawyer games, Ghost Tower failed to live up to expectations when it launched on the DS, but countless ports to smartphones and eventually PC and modern consoles helped it gain popularity over the next fifteen years. Do yourself a favor and buy Ghost Tower whatever happens.

Listen, it’s hot outside. Like Also Stay indoors, play with your friends in one of the many fighting games included in this pack, then tune out the noise of the world with the sound of hundreds, if not thousands, of ripping zombies. Solve your own murder or someone else’s! This pack offers an overwhelming abundance of unique experiences, and it can all be yours for the price of a takeout meal on those overpriced food delivery apps. You know in your heart what needs to be done.
