by The jackpot for Friday’s Mega Millions drawing has climbed to $405 million after no one won the jackpot on Tuesday.
The winning numbers were drawn just after 11pm ET on Friday and we have the results below.
If a lucky player wins the $405 million jackpot in Friday’s drawing, they could walk away with an estimated cash value of $197.7 million in a lump sum payment, according to the lottery.
Two people have already won the Mega Millions jackpot this year: in early March, a player from New Jersey won a whopping $1.13 billion, and last month, another player from Illinois won $552 million.

How to play Mega Millions
To purchase a ticket, you will need to visit your local convenience store, gas station, or grocery store. In a few states, you can purchase tickets online.
To play, you will need to choose six numbers. Five numbers will be white balls ranging from 1 to 70. The golden Mega Ball is a number between 1 and 25.
If you think the odds are against you, ask for a “Quick Pick” or “Easy Pick” and the computer will randomly generate the numbers for you.
Players can add the “Megaplier” for $1, which can double, triple, quadruple or five times their non-jackpot winnings. The Megaplier is drawn before the Mega Millions numbers on Tuesdays and Fridays.
